Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated: October 1, 2026
The Review Generalist is reader-supported. Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, we may earn a commission from the seller or an affiliate network. You pay the same price either way.
How we label it
- A disclosure line appears at the top of every page.
- Each review repeats the disclosure near the start, before the first link to a seller.
- Affiliate links are tagged as sponsored in the page code (
rel="sponsored").
What it does and doesn't change
Commissions don't change what we write. Every review includes downsides and a "who should skip it" section. That said, we can only earn on products with affiliate programs, which affects which products we choose to cover. We think you should know that.
Where the links go
Affiliate links may pass through a tracking address belonging to the affiliate network before reaching the seller's official website. This lets the network credit the referral. The purchase itself happens entirely on the seller's site, under the seller's terms, prices and privacy policy.
