How We Review
Last updated: October 1, 2026
Our goal is simple: give you enough honest information to decide whether a product is right for you, in plain English, in under ten minutes.
What we do
- Read the official product page, specifications, pricing and guarantee terms in full, including the fine print.
- Compare those claims with how this type of product generally works, and flag claims we can't verify.
- Note what the seller doesn't say (missing specs, unclear package contents, conditions on the guarantee).
- Summarize recurring themes in publicly displayed customer reviews, clearly labeled as the seller's figures.
- Write a "who should skip it" section for every product. If a product isn't worth it, we say so.
What we don't do
- We don't claim hands-on testing unless we actually tested the product. Each review says how it was researched.
- We don't publish testimonials, invented quotes or "user stories".
- We don't give star scores for things we haven't measured.
- We don't accept payment for positive coverage or let sellers review our text before publication.
Keeping reviews current
Prices, packages and guarantees change. Every review shows the date it was last updated, and the seller's website is always the final word on current terms. If you spot something out of date, please let us know and we'll correct it.
